JustDone AI review

A 100-tool writing suite with a detector and humanizer attached. The trial terms matter more than the features.

JustDone is a decent all-in-one writing suite, but a weak reason to pay if all you want is an AI detector. The free detector is tightly capped, the paid plan starts with a trial that converts automatically, and the one hands-on test we found reported the humanizer did not lower a GPTZero score. If you are searching for "justdone ai detector", read the pricing and cancellation section before you enter a card.

What JustDone is

JustDone is a bundle of writing tools sold under one subscription. Its pricing page says every plan includes 35+ tools, including an AI detector, AI humanizer, plagiarism checker, grammar checker, paraphraser, summarizer, citations tool and a Chrome extension. Other reviewers count 100+ tools across 11 categories, so the number depends on how you count.

The detector page says it scans text from ChatGPT, GPT-4, GPT-5, Claude, Gemini, Llama and DeepSeek, returns an overall AI score, flags specific sentences, and accepts up to 15,000 words per scan. The first scan needs no account.

JustDone pricing and limits (as of October 2026)

Unlimited monthly$19.99 to $29.99 a month, depending on how you enterAll tools, detector scans up to 15,000 words.
Unlimited annualAbout $119.88 a year ($9.99 a month), per a published reviewAll tools.

The official pricing page we fetched does not render exact prices, so the figures above come from third-party reviews and may be out of date. What the official page does say: prices are in USD, you can cancel any time from account settings or through support, and you can switch plans at any time. We did not find a clear refund policy.

What works

  • One subscription covers a detector, humanizer, plagiarism checker and a lot of study tools.
  • The paid detector flags individual sentences and accepts long documents (up to 15,000 words).
  • A hands-on review found the paid detector accurate on most of its samples, and the plagiarism checker the strongest of the three headline tools.
  • Trustpilot shows a high average score (around 4.5 from several thousand reviews at the time we checked), with positive reviews mentioning speed and ease of use.

What does not

  • The free detector is very limited, and a published review found its results inaccurate and sometimes stuck on the previous scan.
  • The same review reported that humanized ChatGPT text still scored 100% AI on GPTZero, while JustDone's own detector rated it 0% AI. A detector that agrees with its own humanizer is not independent evidence.
  • Trustpilot complaints centre on billing: renewals after cancellation, an accidental add-on purchase during a trial that was not refunded, and paying without getting the service. These are individual reviews, so we cannot say how common they are.
  • One Trustpilot reviewer said the detector flagged their own writing as 84% AI. Every detector has false positives, but it is a reason not to treat any single score as proof.

Who JustDone is for

It suits a student who will actually use several of the tools each month (plagiarism check, citations, summaries) and who is comfortable setting a calendar reminder to cancel the trial. It is a poor fit if you only need to check a draft for AI flags once or twice, or if you expect the humanizer to guarantee a result against another detector.

JustDone vs TextAsMe

JustDoneTextAsMe
Free detectorFirst scan, tight free capFree AI detector
Explains the flagFlags sentencesSentence-level heatmap that explains why each sentence is flagged
HumanizerTone presetsStyle DNA rewrites matched to your own writing, 200 free words
PaidTrial that converts to monthlyPro $18.50 a month or $111 a year

TextAsMe is narrower: a detector and a humanizer, not 100 tools. The point is that you see why a sentence reads as AI and fix it in your own voice instead of swapping in a generic rewrite. We do not claim to bypass Turnitin or any other detector.

Honest alternatives

  • Need a plagiarism checker plus study tools: JustDone is reasonable value, just watch the trial.
  • Need a detector only: try a free one first (TextAsMe, GPTZero or Copyleaks all have free checks).
  • Need to edit flagged text yourself: use a heatmap detector so you know which sentences to rewrite.

Check your draft free and see exactly which sentences read as AI, and why.

Common questions

Partly. The first scan needs no account, but a published hands-on review reports an 80-word cap per scan on the free plan. Longer scans and reports need a paid plan.

Third-party reviews report about $19.99 to $29.99 a month and about $119.88 a year, usually after a 7-day paid trial that converts automatically. Confirm current prices on justdone.com.

One hands-on review found the paid detector accurate on most samples but the free one unreliable. No detector is perfectly accurate, so treat any score as a signal, not proof.

One published test reported it did not lower a GPTZero score, though results vary by text and detector version. Do not rely on any humanizer as a guarantee.

We did not find a clear refund policy on the pricing page. It says you can cancel any time, and some Trustpilot reviewers report trouble getting refunds after renewals.
