What runs in your browser, and what is sent

The writing analysis in the free tools, readability, style analysis and the sentence heatmap, runs in your browser.

When you check text of 300 characters or more, on the free tools or in the Studio, it is sent to an AI-detection provider (Undetectable.ai) for a real score. Rewriting sends it to Cloudflare Workers AI. We do not store your text unless you save it to Documents. To avoid paying twice for the same check we keep the score and a one-way fingerprint of the text for 30 days, never the text itself. For signed-out visitors we keep a one-way fingerprint of the IP address for a day to enforce the free daily check.

What we store

If you create an account we store only what the account needs to work:

• Your email address, and the name and avatar Google gives us if you sign in with Google.
• Whether you opted in to product emails.
• Documents you create in Documents: their title and text, so they sync across your devices. Only you can read them.
• Counters for how many rewrites you have used, so free limits can be applied.
• The account creation date.

Cookies

We set cookies for one purpose: keeping you signed in. They are issued by our authentication provider and are required for the account area to work. We run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

We keep the list of third parties short, and none of them sell your data:

• Supabase, authentication and the database holding your account row.
• Cloudflare, hosting and delivery of the site, and Workers AI, which runs the AI rewriting, humanizing and Copilot features on the text you send.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google, which shares your email, name and avatar with us.
• Undetectable.ai, which scores text, audio and video you check for how likely it is to be AI-generated. Files are sent only to be scored and we do not store them.

How long we keep it

Your account row lives for as long as your account does. Delete the account and the row, along with your documents and usage counters, is deleted with it. Deleting a single document removes it immediately.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email support@textasme.com and we will act on it. If you are in the EEA or UK, the legal basis for storing your account data is performance of the contract you enter into by creating an account.

Children

TextAsMe is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes with it and we will say so in-product before the change takes effect.
