Use it sensibly, keep your account to yourself, and your writing stays yours. Scores are estimates, not verdicts — treat them that way.
Using TextAsMe
By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it. The free tools need no account; the Studio and your usage limits do.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. One person, one account. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or is used to abuse the service.
Your text stays yours
You keep every right you have in the text you write. We claim no ownership and no licence to publish it. The free tools process it in your browser, so we never receive it in the first place.
Acceptable use
Do not use TextAsMe to:
- Break the law, or help someone else do it.
- Submit someone else's work as a way of passing it off as your own where that is prohibited — academic honesty rules are yours to follow.
- Scrape, resell or automate access to the service beyond normal personal use.
- Attack, overload or probe the service or the people using it.
Free limits and paid plans
Free accounts get a fixed number of rewrites. Limits, features and prices can change; if a change affects a plan you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect.
No guarantee of accuracy
Detection scores and style readings are our own estimates, not verdicts. No detector named on this site is affiliated with us, and none of our output should be treated as proof of how a third-party tool will score your writing. Decisions you make on the basis of these scores are your own.
Service availability
The service is provided as is, without warranty. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of TextAsMe. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using TextAsMe and delete your account at any time. We may end access if these terms are broken.
