Short answer

I build TextAsMe and write every review on this site. The tools, the analyser and the articles come from the same place: wanting to know exactly why a sentence reads as machine-written, not just a percentage.

Why TextAsMe exists

Every AI detector and humanizer I tried returned a single number and no reasons. That is useless if you wrote the draft yourself and got flagged anyway, and it teaches you nothing if you are editing an AI draft. TextAsMe marks each sentence, names the signal behind the flag, and rewrites toward how you actually write. It runs in your browser, so your text is never uploaded.

How the reviews are written

Tool reviews run the same AI-written draft through the tool and back through our own sentence-level analyser. Where a review is based on a product's published pricing and documentation rather than a hands-on test, the article says so. We do not publish bypass percentages against Turnitin or GPTZero, because nobody outside those companies can measure them reliably.
